MQGG and its derived non-invasive systems pull weak, distributed signals out of heterogeneous ground, then turn them into decisions: where to drill, what is there, what it is worth.
It is an information problem as much as an instrument problem: ill-conditioned inversion, noise statistics and multi-parameter reconstruction, carried from the field instrument to the interpretation model.
